Joe’s Pizzeria has a reputation for being largest slice on the Wildwood boardwalk — and since they opened in 2011, they haven't disappointed on that metric. But what about the taste of their slice? Expect a slice that's well-seasoned with plenty of flavorful sauce. You probably won't leave hungry. We mean that in a good way.

So sad... We went to try it and upon ordering the large pizza there was a long black hair baked into our pizza. When we told the owner. He simply said that he couldn't control the hair situation and took a wad of money out of his pocket and he put down a $10 bill on our table towards our check instead of taking the pizza off our order. He then asked if we wanted the rest of the pizza when we said no he said he'll just box it up for his employees. Really??? He said everyone has hair and it can't be controlled. Never again.

Owner is extremely rude to guests of his restaurant. Literally found a small piece of curly hair in the pizza (gee, where could THAT have come from??). The pizza was too big to fit on the plate so half of the slice hung off and sat on the table (mind you, the table that was not even cleaned). The Large soda was filled to the top and you were lucky if you could get 3 sips out of the cup. The pubescent teens that stood around in "Joe's" t-shirts and aprons acting like servers had something to be desired. At one point there was a group of about 8 of them watching the owner get loud with a patron while they smiled. This is the farthest thing from a professional establishment I think I have ever been in. Everything about this place rubbed me the wrong way. And the pizza...let's get real. Quality should always come before quantity. Except for it being big, there was nothing delicious about it. Not a nice atmosphere, not nice people, not professional and certainly not good food.

Really, who submitted the prior comments, his family? The pie gets 2 stars because I'm impressed by the size of the slice. Thats it.
