New Places to Eat on the Wildwood Boardwalk Guide 2021 [Updated]
The 2-mile Wildwood boardwalk is an ever-evolving treasure trove of food, desserts, drinks and more -- And with a new summer season upon us, 2021 brings a batch of new delicious eateries and possibilities!
We hope this guide assists you in enjoying and maximizing all the food options the boardwalk offers! Enjoy!

1. Papi's Tacos
Location: 2901 Boardwalk, Wildwood
Papi's Tacos, located in the former location of Stewart's Root Beer, features Mexican-American favorites, including quesadillas, burritos, salads, bowls, nachos, guacamole, and, of course, tacos.
2. Great American Lobster Roll Co.
Location: 3012 Boardwalk, Wildwood
Quincy's Lobster Rolls moved out (more about this below)...and the Great American Lobster Roll Co. moved in!
Featuring "Traditional" New England Style + "Signature" Lobster Rolls, you really have to check out this menu to figure out which roll is the one for you. In addition to the variety of toppings, you can also opt to make your roll "colossal" with "50% more lobster meat."
In addition, crab cake and shrimp rolls are available as well as grilled cheeses with lobster, crab cake and shrimp.
3. Johnny Scoops
Location: 3014 Boardwalk, Wildwood
There's nothing like an ice cream on a summer day. Johnny Scoops seems prepared to deliver. The shop features soft serve and hand scooped ice creams + a variety of toppings, root beer floats and waffles and ice cream. Yes, please!

4. Wally's
Location: 3420 Boardwalk, Wildwood
There was a Wally's on the boardwalk in North Wildwood, last seen in 2013 -- not sure if there's any connection here -- but a new Wally's is now on the boardwalk right in the middle of the action by Mariner's Pier, at the former location of Fredo's Pizza (their 2020 location), Pop's Caramel Corn and Harry's Pizza (in that historical order).
Wally's offers breakfast, lunch and dinner, featuring items such as pizza, calzone, stromboli, sandwiches, gyros, salads and a variety of other items. The large menu at Wally's seems like it is sure to offer something for everyone!
5. Seaport Kettle Corn
Location: 4218 Boardwalk, Wildwood
You probably already guessed that Seaport Kettle Corn has a variety of fresh popcorns, but the shop also offers cookies, donuts, fresh squeezed lemonade, fresh fruit and more. In other words, great snack food for a day at the beach!
6. Icy Boba
Location: 2914 Boardwalk, Wildwood
Icy Boba, located at the former Mana Ice Co., features Boba milk teas, drinks made with a variety of fruits, slushes, green teas, and more.

7. Dipping Scoops (New 2nd Location)
Location: 4218 Boardwalk, Wildwood
Dipping Scoops first debuted on the boardwalk in 2020 (Wildwood Avenue) and has now opened up a 2nd location for the 2021 season at Montgomery Avenue.
8. Quincy's Original Lobster Rolls [RELOCATED]
Location: 2701 Boardwalk, Wildwood
After a successful inaugural 2020 season, Quincy's has relocated for the 2021 season to the former location of Johnson's Popcorn.
If you haven't tried Quincy's yet, don't let the name fool you -- Quincy's Lobster Rolls is much more than name suggests. In addition to their classic Maine lobster rolls, you can also get lobster salad, crab, and shrimp rolls, all served on a split top bun. Soups, salads, lobster mac-and-cheese and grilled cheeses, chicken fingers and kid's meals are all packed on the menu.
If you're looking for a bargain, visit during "Lobster Roll Happy Hour" Monday and Thursday between 3 and 5pm --or-- during Kid's Eat Free Wednesday Nights (5 to 8pm with purchases of adult lobster roll meal).
9. Fractured Prune [RELOCATED]
Location: 2102 Boardwalk, North Wildwood
The Fractured Prune donut shop has moved to a larger location just a block south of their original Wildwood boardwalk location. The new spot "will now have a separate area to order and grab coffee along with an expanded coffee menu letting you skip the donut line and get your coffee fix fast," per the Fractured Prune North Wildwood's Facebook page.
BONUS: 2020 was a whacky year. In case you missed it, here are a few new places that opened in 2020...
10. Playa Bowls
Location: 3800 Boardwalk, Wildwood
Playa Bowls has opened a new location at the former Mallin's Fudge, directly accessible to the boardwalk on the ground floor on The Boardwalk Mall.
The franchise, which can be found in 10+ U.S. states + Puerto Rico, specializes in acai, pitaya, green, coconut, chia pudding and banana bowls. In addition, the menu features, fresh juices, smoothies, and oatmeal bowls.
11. Dole Whip
Location: Boardwalk Mall, Wildwood
Dole Whip, ice cream, water ice, lemonade and something-that-intrigues-us-but-we-haven't-yet-tried called whipped coffee is available at the Dole Whip store, located boardwalk-front at the Boardwalk Mall.
12. Capt'n Jacks (2nd location now at Boardwalk Mall)
Location: Boardwalk Mall, Garfield Avenue & The Boardwalk, Wildwood
A second location of Capt'n Jacks is now located at the front of the Boardwalk Mall and features food and drink with beach views.
13. Little Nicky's Pizza (Re-opened, new owners)
Location: 17th and Boardwalk, North Wildwood
14. Pompeo's (Re-opened, new owners)
Location: 1610 Boardwalk, North Wildwood
Pompeo's, the longtime North Wildwood spot, is BACK under new ownership. In addition to offering breakfast, Pompeo's will once again offer dinner after several years of converting to a breakfast-only spot.
